Confirmation is public affirmation of our baptism. It is a period of instruction in the basics of Christian belief centered on the Bible and Luther’s Small Catechism. As we affirm our baptism, we remember that God loves us, has made us his own, and calls us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit to live together in community, loving God and loving our neighbor as ourselves.

Confirmation is generally taught for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students at St. Mark. But if anyone wishes to attend and learn more about the Scriptures, theology, or Lutheran teaching and traditions, they are certainly welcomed.

Pastor Ben teaches Confirmation during The WELL on Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm. Classes run during the school year from September to May.
