Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction

April 29, 2018 - 10:30-12:30

TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH OF ALTA, IOWA, is working with an impoverished neighborhood of Alta, the Westview Trailer Park.  The park was established in 1963 and most of the 39 trailers date from that time.  As a result, many of the electrical and plumbing systems do not meet current code specifications.  There are other safety issues with broken windows and leaking roofs.  (There are 153 residents, 78 of whom are children.) We are planning two work days, April 28 and May 12, to address these concerns.  Every helping hand is welcome (especially licensed plumbers and electricians).  Any questions, contact Pastor Denise Parrello @ 218-791-6136.

ST. CROIX HOSPICE: Do you enjoy visiting with others and making a difference? Consider becoming a Hospice Volunteer! Opportunities are available in this area! If interested contact St. Croix Hospice 712-264-5674 or at
