PRAYING FOR EACH OTHER DURING LENT: During the season of Lent, we are praying for one another as a congregation.  If you were not in worship last weekend, Feb. 3 or 4, please write your name on a yellow slip from the end of your pew and place it in the offering.  At the end of worship, you may go to the altar and draw out the name of a person to pray for.  No special instructions; you may contact the person or not as you wish.  Please pray for him/her until Easter.  Somebody else will be praying for you!

VALENTINE GIFT IDEAS: Everyone loves chocolate. LWR has either milk chocolate or dark chocolate pieces (or mix them) 3 for $1. Coffee is always enjoyed. Choose from Hazelnut or French Vanilla in the 12 ounce bags–$7 for regular and $8 decaf. Boxes of 12 individual serve cups are also available in regular or decaf. Surprise your Valentine while supporting LWR.

ST. MARK ADULT RETIRED TASTERSwill meet at Scooter’s in Alta on Thursday, February 22 at noon. Please sign up if you plan to attend.

DURING LENT you are asked to participate in two special ways.  During the midweek worship we hope to have people sharing their stories of faith, whether long or short, spoken or written.  Pastor Deb will be glad to help you develop your story if needed.  Please contact her if you are feeling led to share your story.

Second, the Sunday morning series will include instruction on spiritual practices you may wish to try.   A listing of the practices will be available in the narthex or by email if you request it from the church office.  If you do nothing else, please consider setting the intention to pray, and to try new ways of praying if you feel the need.
